An app to help people start a business.
As part of Acumen Academy's Human Centred Design certificate, a diverse team designed an app to guide American lower-income entrepreneurs through starting and building a business at a personalized pace, powered by public sources.

Looking through Ideo University programs and Ideo.org tools, I found that they partnered with Acumen Academy. Together, they developed human-centered design courses, to encourage social innovators to bring human-centered design techniques to their project to have a more substantial impact.
After enrolling, I was fortunate to be welcome by a team conformed by three women from different professional backgrounds who also me through the program. We all shared our experiences and learned from each strength.
I also designed guidelines for them to standardize their deliverables. This saved time and costs and reduced workload on my team’s end. It also gave me the opportunity to work on special branding exercises with the brand director to continuously learn about branding for the high-end market.
